Do I need an account, email, or credit card to try Klackey?+

No. Install Klackey and use every feature free for 14 days with nothing but the download. A license purchase only asks for payment details at the point you actually decide to buy.

What happens if I don't renew the optional update year?+

Nothing gets taken away. The version of Klackey you have keeps working, with every feature you already had access to. Renewing just resumes new updates; skipping it doesn't start a countdown or lock anything.

Is there any automatic billing at all?+

No. There's no card on file that gets charged again automatically. The optional additional year of updates is a separate, deliberate purchase you make if and when you want it.

What happens when my 14-day trial ends, if I haven't bought a license yet?+

Nothing is deleted. You can still open Klackey and browse, search, and export everything you've created. Editing and background features (clipboard capture, text expansion, quick paste) pause until you activate a license, and pick up right where you left off once you do.

Can I use my license on more than one computer?+

Yes. One license covers up to two personal computers, on Windows, macOS, or one of each.
